Okay, I have just read Fiction Bitch's review. Elizabeth has nobly defended my novel against suggestions of 'should have been a fictionalised memoir', and I could kiss her for this. (I have argued enough about my book being a novel, and am too tired to go on with it.) Of everyone who has reviewed TSoM, Elizabeth really seems to have got it. Of course, all readers' responses are valid, but it is a joy when a reader gets entirely what you intended as a writer. I had a wee cry after reading her words.
