I'm a little torn by this! (No "torn curtain" pun intended!) I get the point (I think!), but... If the curtains are relevant to the story/plot, then perhaps their color has some meaning. If they are not relevant, why mention them at all?

Hey Rick, It just made me laugh, but I agree, there is a reason the curtains are blue, but I think best not to be over-analysed!
